This was another species I expected to bump into much earlier than I actually did. I eventually got photos of it in John Olive's garden in April 2011. Most of the shots are of a newly-emerged female, whose wings hadn't fully pumped up at first. There were a couple more adults sitting up in a nearby tree, though they were a bit far away for my macro lens. I also saw one or two adults the following day, but was busy trying to get shots of Rapala varuna at the time.
