I saw a couple of these at the side of the track on the Red Arrow walk in the Mount Whitfield Conservation Park, and the following day there were some more at Atherton right at the same spot as Hypochrysops miskini. The males seemed very keen to chase any small blue butterfly, which made it hard to get photos because they were forever taking off to battle with male Small Green-banded blues. Sightings
