Unfortunately, I've never seen the adult of this spectacular species. This larva was found by Bob Miller near Kuranda. It's very colourful, and it was the only thing around at the time, since Bob and I were getting soaked by the heaviest rain of my whole trip. The pupa from November 2008 was being reared by Mick Sands - I can't remember where it originated from.
