More stooged photos I'm afraid. Al and Mark Hopkinson gave me a couple of pupae, and when they hatched I took some photos.
I was able to get a couple of 'real' shots of this species around Cairns in April 2011. At Trinity Park, one of these butterflies just flew down and settled right in front of me, allowing me to get a few shots, one of which I've put online. Apparently this never happens. Not ever. So of course, exactly the same thing happened the next day in the Cairns Botanic Garden. So the following day I went and bought a Lotto ticket.....
