Although this is supposed to be a common species, I've only seen them a few times, and always around North Sydney or in the Royal Botanical Gardens.
They're not easy to photograph, as they as fast fliers, and even when they settle to feed from flowers they never seem to quite stay still for long enough for me to get a good photo.
