Notes

Other Common Names
Greenish Darter

I first saw this species early in 2005, when I went to Auburn Botanic Gardens. In one spot there were a few of them perching at around head height on bushes. If disturbed they flew rapidly to another spot on the same bush or another one nearby.
I then bumped into this species again in March 2005 in the bushland at the back of Ingleburn. I saw a couple of specimens this time, both female. The first flew from a grassy area to perch on a shrub, the second was flying around a nearby grassy area, laying eggs.
