Notes

Other Common Names
Saltpan Blue

I first saw this butterfly fluttering around a small plant at the Georges River National Park. Unfortunately this was on just about my first serious attempt to get photos for this project, so I didn't get many pics of it and they weren't very good.
In October 2004, I went looking for this species along Little Salt Pan Creek at Revesby. In one or two areas the ground was carpeted with what I presume were samphires, and they in turn were carpeted with these butterflies. Finding them was easy enough, but photographing them was difficult, as this is one of those species that flutters around almost constantly.
