Trapezites argenteoornatus (Silver-spotted Ochre)

Notes

I’ve this butterfly on sand dunes at several different sites around Perth and along the coast northwards of the city. Their behaviour was typical for Trapezites – the males defended territories, and once settled they were easy enough to photograph. The females were more difficult, as they landed much less often.
